Accreditation guidelines for Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH

As a trade fair organiser we want to make it easier for journalists to have access to information on our events and our company with help of accreditation. Accreditation is effected solely for the purposes of journalistic reports.

Obtaining a press accreditation:
1. Holder of a valid press ID of a domestic or foreign journalist association without industry relevance.

2. Holder of a valid press ID of a domestic or foreign specialist journalist association related to the theme of the trade fair.

3. Persons from Germany or abroad who are able to prove their journalistic (also photojournalistic) activity in the following way:

a) by presenting original copies of byline articles which are not older than six months at the time of the event,

b) by presenting an original copy of the legal information naming that person as the editor, or as a member or contributor on the permanent editorial staff, in the six months prior to the time of the event,

c) by presenting an original copy of a written order of editorial work with reference to the current trade fair

d) by means of a web link to an online publication created by the person which is established in the respective trade fair community. In these cases advance accreditation is required due to the increased time and effort involved in checking documentation.

e) by presenting an old receipt, maximum six months old, proving that you work for student newspapers or by presenting a valid ID from a youth press organisation

Please note the trade fair organiser reserves the right to carry out further checks to demonstrate the journalistic activity, also in cases of presentation of a press ID. The credentials are to be presented in German or English. The trade fair organiser reserves the right in individual cases to also request a valid personal document with a photo. The right to accreditation does not exist. If necessary the trade fair organiser makes use of its house regulations.
